Attendance and
Leave Taking Procedures

  • Entry to the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination in the case of eligible candidates, who are being entered for the first time, is restricted to candidates with the minimum of 75% attendance of the working days during each year of the two year course at school(s) affiliated to the Council and registered for the (Indian School Certificate Examination /Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination). The last date of computing attendance at schools is February 15 of the year of examination

  • It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that their child/ward attends classes regularly. No student, whose attendance is below 75% of the working days in the academic year may be permitted to appear for either the half-yearly or the final examination. This is a Council Regulation.

  • A leave for a day or two can be entered in the College Diary by the Parents and sanctioned by the Class Teachers. A leave of four days, or more, must be sanctioned by the Principal. In case of illnesses, it is essential to attach a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner. Kindly do not submit Medical Prescriptions as the names of the medicines and their dosage is of no use to the College. Absence Records are maintained by the respective Class Teachers.

  • Do not hold the scholar back for trivial reasons. Regularity in attendance is a trait of character, like punctuality. These are qualities that are recognized and appreciated even in service. If a scholar is absent without reason during the Examination, do not request for a re-examination. The result of such scholars will be incomplete and therefore no rank will be allotted to them at the end of the year.
